About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Full Stack AI & Security Developer to join our team in Crawley. This is a hands-on development role responsible for designing, developing and maintaining cutting-edge cybersecurity and AI-powered applications.

The successful candidate will have proven experience across modern web development, Microsoft security technologies, AI integration and cloud-native development. You will work closely with security architects, developers and operational teams to deliver innovative solutions that enhance security operations, automation and business intelligence.

Due to the nature of our work, this role is strictly office-based with no remote access permitted.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain modern web applications using React and Node.js.
  • Design and build secure APIs and integrations with Microsoft security platforms.
  • Develop solutions leveraging Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender and security data sources.
  • Build automation workflows and integrations using Azure services and DevOps pipelines.
  • Develop and enhance AI-powered solutions using Microsoft Copilot technologies and Azure AI Foundry.
  • Create dashboards, visualisations and reporting solutions for security operations.
  • Integrate large language models (LLMs) and AI services into enterprise applications.
  • Work with security teams to understand operational requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Participate in architecture design, code reviews and technical decision-making.
  • Ensure solutions meet security, compliance and operational requirements.
  • Maintain technical documentation and deployment processes.

AI & Automation

  • Experience developing solutions using:
    • Microsoft Copilot
    • Azure AI Foundry
    • Generative AI technologies
    • Large Language Models (LLMs)
    • AI workflow orchestration

DevOps

  • Azure DevOps
  • CI/CD pipeline development
  • Git source control
  • Infrastructure-as-Code concepts
  • Automated testing and deployment processes

General

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working within security-focused or regulated environments.

Desirable Skills

  • Microsoft Certifications.
  • Experience with KQL (Kusto Query Language).
  • Experience integrating security products and SIEM platforms.
  • PowerShell or Python development experience.
  • Containerisation technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Experience with SOC or cyber security operations environments.
  • Knowledge of secure software development practices.

Eligibility & Security Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Hold a valid full UK passport.
  • Live permanently and work full-time within the United Kingdom.
  • Be willing and able to work 100% on-site in Crawley, West Sussex.
  • Be eligible to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check prior to employment.
  • Be able to provide proof of right to work in the UK.

Please note that remote working, hybrid working and overseas working arrangements are not available for this position.
